I am a 51 year old female who has had Diabetes since I was 10 years
old. I’ve kept myself under pretty good controlthrough insulin, Diet
and exercise. I have also had extensive laser treatment for
Diabetes retinopathy, have had cataract replacement in both eyes and
last May, I had a heart attack which resulted in my being medivacced
out of the community where I live to a majjor centre for an angiogram
and angioplasty. I would love to be in contact with other Diabetics
aroud the same age who have been diagnosed for about the same length
of time and who have had similar problems (or have been lucky to
