		<description>Hi, Bassem,
I've been a type 1 diabetic for 28 years. My HbA1c has ranged from
6.8 to 7.6. The last one was 7.3.

<description>My son has been type 1 for 3 years now. His Hba1c's depend on what
time of year it is. During the summer I always keep him right at 7-
7.5. In the winter, until this year, his asthma would get him and he
would be on steroids for around 3 months, so his hba1c was usually up
to about 13 at those times of the year. DO try to relax. Just that
alone will help your blood sugars, and you do need to find your
comfort range. Especially at first, you feel like you have to be
perfect, but that is alot of work. You'll eventually find a balance
between control and your life. Also, as time goes on, everything will
come more naturally to you, and you will start to relax then, too.
