Hello and welcome to the group! I am glad to see young people
joining the list and I’m glad that this list has people of all ages

Just wanted to come by and say hello.Im Traci, age 39 and I teach
preschool. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last year and I take
humalog twice a day (injections). My counts are all screwed up right
now for some reason, maybe cause of a new medication Im taking for my
headaches, perhaps. Either way, its real high, last week it went to
499 and I got scared, but got it down to the 200’s now….still
adjusting the insulin tho, so hopefully I can get it back down to the
90’s or so.
I hope I can learn so much from everyone here….thank you for the
support yall give!

Hello Group,
Name is Glenn and I’m new to this list as well. Been T1 for 17 years. Been through lots of ups and downs. Currently HgA1c at 7.4. My latest regiment is the aforementioned Novolog/Lantus combination. My dietician calls it the “poor mans pump”. My biggest need now is more emotional rather than scientific. I’m looking for a kind of support group and thought this as good a spot to start as any. Looking forward to all the postings.
Thanks in advance,
Glenn
