		<description>yeah...7-8 is my REALISTIC measure..my first A1c ever was a 6.7
but that was a TOTAL pain in the ass to attain, and i suffered
much anxiety and MANY hypos...hence, anything below 8 will now
cause me less pain, and a more realistic way to live a "normal"
life...

		<description>Hey! I've already told you my son's hba1cs, but I just got a
newsletter in the mail today from his clinic with an article about
a1cs. It says the average at that clinic is 4-6. They also say that
the ADA recommends 1 above normal which is 7, so I guess they mean
around 7-8. This article also has a a little side note about
converting a1cs to avg bgs-
(hba1c -2) *30= your overall average bg. Hope that helps!
