New “Pumper”
Finally! After several years of waiting and wishing, my MiniMed 508
arrived yesterday. I still have to be trained to use it but I know
that after twenty years of unstable blood sugars, I have the hope of
some stability. Can anyone tell me what I can expect over the first
month or so after I begin using the pump? Any help anyone can give
would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations! I’ve only been a pumper since May 10th. I don’t know
what I can tell you. Don’t expect it to be too easy, but you will
have remarkable improvement.
