Need affordable test strips
I am in search of the most economical means of purchasing or getting
free test strips and wanted to know from all of you who have found
the way! I do not carry any insurance and live very simply. In the
past I have had some elder women give me their excess test strips.
Thanks in advance

I have never heard of anywhere where you could get them free. I wish! I test my daughter 5-6 times a day, and even though we have a prescription for 200 test strips a month which is barely enough to test that month. About 2 months ago our insurance started only covering 100, so that leaves me with the fact I have to find the best bargain out there on them. I found that a lot of people sell test strips on EBAY! in lots of 50, 100, 150, and sometimes even 300. It can get costly, but sometimes rather cheap too. You usually get a much better deal then you would buying them at the pharmacy 1/2, or even 1/3rd what you would have paid. Hope this helps!

Something to consider about test strips that are given to you or
purchased over eBay: They are not “free” or cheap. Someone
paid full price for them, via insurance premiums. They may be
cheaper for you, but the cost is just being transferred to
someone else.
You have to decide for yourself if that presents a moral dilemma.
