Sugar Alcohol & Where supplies kept

Good Morning,

Alcohol, lowers the blood sugar numbers initally because it inhibits the livers ability to process/filters things. Then will make numbers higher, as it comes back “on line” full tilt. Plus, the sugar has been broken down at that point and you have it to deal with too. Cryptic I know but that’s the gist of the physiology, I has taught at every center, and by every CDE I ever encountered…

As for where the supplies are kept, almost all fo them are kept in the fanny pack, usually around my waist. As for the extra packages of needles, or infusion sets, or whatever, they’re in small locked boxes I got at Office Max. Needles I go through very slowly, infusion sets when I was on the pump nightmare (ICCK)… easily accessible. They also ALL fit easily into the same small fanny pack… no problem whatever. Kept 2 spares of everything except the tubing… and it all fit.
