Type 1 diabetes

Hi Brenda,

This may not be the site you are looking for, but you were sent here for a reason. Welcome and take a deep breath, things are going to be fine. There are several people here who have been diagnosed from ages younger then your child and are in their adult years which is what a mother wants to hear.

I am also a mom of a type 1 and came to this web site for a glimpse of the future. It can be scarry, but if you know your enemy you can defend yourself better against it.

How is your son doing now? Have they gotten his bs under control? Please feel free to contact me about any and all questions you may have and I would be honored to fill you in the best I can.
