Insuline Question

How come some people take a lot lower Dose of Lantus and others like me take 50 units at night? Is it the degree of weight, age, or what determines this? And why are a lot of people splitting it up? I have heard of a lot of people who do this.

    I just know that everyone is different. I don’t know if it goes by body mass or muscle to fat ratio or something totally goofy like what size shoe your mother wears.

    I know by splitting the dose morning and evening a lot of paople are getting better numbers all day and all night.
