Race to cure Diabetes

Has anyone done that before? I am doing that November 6th( my
birthday) in the mornin. would it be a good idea to bring a snack
with me just in case my blood sugar gets low? I walked the other day
from my school down the road(it was probably 2 miles( to pick up my
car) and when I got in my car I knew I needed to get something to
eat and I did once I got home.
Thanks!

we just did the walk (3.5 miles) and my daughter was a little low at the end even with an extra big snack for her 930am snack(we did 40 carbs instead of 20)

they usually offer apples and water during the walk, i’d partake if you feel low, or even if you don’t just to be cautious.

    how long is your walk?

this was our second year, we did much better. better finish and better funds. we weren’t last this year and we went from $1,200.oo to $2,800.00.

let us know how you do…

    Thanks for caring and sharing,
