<description>I've been running high for more than a week now. My symptoms faded 6-7
years ago, so I'm wondering if they'll even come back. The way my numbers
are right now, I don't have to worry about feeling a low coming on since I
can't even get low enough to find out.

<description>I used to think that my control was okay on R/NPH until I finally went to a
doctor and had an A1c done, which was 15+. I hadn't been testing all the
time before that test, though. I know that my readings throughout the day
tend go way up if I'm inactive. Today, for example, I've done next to
nothing. I hate the summer, heat, humidity and sun and really have to
force myself to go outside during the summer. I will usually go for a walk
in the evening, before it's dark and that will help with my reading an hour
or two after the walk (50 minutes - hour) but then they go right back up.
Good luck with your new job, insurance and medical care. I was on Lantus
for just two months but it made a huge difference, as did switching from R
to Humalog.

<description>How long have you been hypo unaware, and have you ever tried to get the
hypo feelings back? I just read somewhere that while running higher
numbers might work for some, some people will just never get the symptoms
back. I don't remember the last time I had obvious signs of a low, but it
was probably 5-6 years ago
