Sorry still haven't mastered this combining messages so as not to take up too much listserve space. Someday I'll get the idea...

Two simple questions re: the situation you described. 1) how do you stop yourself when you are drinking ONLY a half a coke???? I've never, ever gotten that idea, and been doing it for a very very long time. Low is low and dangerous, high I can micromanage later on. how can/do you stop yourself at half a can especuially when you're low?

2) As for only being a little low, why would you change your treatment methods? Consider, a single habit for taking care of business versus two or three different treatments... might become a problem if alone and in the danger zone, no?

But regarding having the awareness of different things... certainly. Your mind, my mind are still able to function when only a little low. When that level drops lower still our ability to access higher thought processes is gone. It is a differen feel because our brain chemistry and ability to think is literally different. The brain requires sugar to function correctly. No sugar and you get primal survival responses... no thinking involved
