		<description>Jeff,

I hit the fridge when I am stressed. It's finals week, and I have a husband with a very short temper. (absolutely never hits, but is occasionally verbal with the kids.... this is stress inducing). Hence, the nursing school so I can at least have the option of getting myself and the kids away from the self-directed anger my husband displays at times. There are no friends or family here for support, and my parents would not help me with rent the one time I moved out, because they believe my place is here with my husband. So, I moved back in instead of going homeless. The fridge became my friend, and, voila, extra poundage and high sugars. I do not share this with you all for sympathy. There is light at the end of the tunnel, for I sit for the boards in May, and husband has agreed to seek some help, for he knows he has a problem (adult child of alcoholic). The fridge is becoming just an appliance again, and my jeans are beginning to fit a bit looser. The sugars still
bounce around at times, but I don't think I have had one over 800 for quite a while. It used to stay there.

So. I have spilled my guts to a whole room of strangers. Rather cathartic, I must say. Thank you all for listening, and if you all find yourself getting stressed, at all, I would highly recommend exercising for stress relief. : ) Avoid the fridge at all costs.
