the hardest thing for me to adjust to has been being hungry all the
time. i’m used to eating what i want, when i want it. now i can’t do
that anymore. i can only eat at about 2 pm, 9 pm, 1am and have a 4 am
snack. i’m limited to 75 carbs a meal, with a 30 carb snack. those
carbs dont go far at all. heck, 2 pieces of wheat bread take up 22 of
them. my doctor told me to eat more meat. i’m getting sick of eating
ham all the time. i have been eating alot of steaks. i rarely ever
get full when i have a meal. supper tonight was steak, mashed
potatoes, green beans, peaches, a roll, and a peanut butter cereal
bar. oh yeah, i had some milk also. i was still hungry afterwards. i
go to the doctors thursday and friday, maybe they will raise my carb
intake. my levels have been fantastic with this carb limit. today it
was 120 at breakfast, 101 at lunch, 91 at supper, and 98 at 4 am.
alot of times, my stomache hurts bad at work from being so hungry.
