why should you check your feet?

I was wondering that or your shoes.
What do your shoes have to do with your feet with diabetes.
Thanks

    Rob,

(First a little clue… please don’t call us “chicks.”)

ok. If I hold my hands over my head for a very long time, MY hands get cold and a little more pale than usual due to gravity. Otherwise, my hands are just fine. You are experiencing the generalizations many people make about diabetics. And seeing how offended you can be if they generalize YOU. After time, I have developed the attitude of them being poor ignorant souls who really need some education, and try to educate them, if time permits. If there is no time, I hope the next diabetic with whom she has contact will do some teaching.
