Job Related
Thanks for the responses. My current job is in sales and can require
a lot of physical effort as well as periods of time that you are
unable to take a break. This is my personal concern whether I will
have to look at going back to a 9-5 career. I was only diagnosed
November of 2004 and I haven’t worked since. Not because of the
diabetes but I was on leave to take care of my mother (who is getting
better) but now I am faced with chosing to go back or looking into
something else. My other main concern is health insurance. Some
people have told me that no matter what, I should not change my
health provider even if I change jobs. That I should stick with
cobra and then the plan they offer me once it runs out. But the cost
will be more and I have always depended on my employer plans.
Oh, so many thoughts and changes but I am getting more and more used
to diabetes. I know all will work out…
