Sharp Things…. (was insulin needles)

Unfortunately for many adequate, much less affordable health insurance is a major difficulty.

However, unless your syringe is dropped into something, or the lancet is literally crusty-dirty, its NOT necessary to change either one. You can use either until they are not sharp… or far, far more likely the lubricant on the needle itself is indeed used up.

But hey if you prefer to change them every time that’s fine too, but it is not necessary. A BETTER approach is to merely make sure our hands are clean and say washed with warm water and those factors will do better than a “virgin” lancet… in my experience anyway.
