Exercises, Sharp things, etc.

Hello Tina,

Exercise….. difficult topic. What are your interests… what are you into? Perhaps more importantly, what do you have access to?

There are many types and kinds of exercises. For weight loss, you will want something that gets your heart rate up and keeps it up, several times a week… perhaps as often as possible even ; ). However given the description of your recent wound, you would IMHO definitely want CLEARANCE from the medical folks, make certain…. your body is upto the challenges.

To start, you might consider something as “exotic” (by some accounts) as Yoga… or more correctly Hatha-Yoga as it is correctly called. There are lots of activities, different practices which you can do which will likely not remove huge amounts of weight, but after a short time might get you the mental frame of mind, the HABIT of helpful activities, behaviors which will get you to your end goal… the habit of exercise.

One of many possibilities…
Its my opinion, I could easily be mistaken,

Hello Mary,
Why so? Provided I’m only using Lantus, the syringe is sterile… as is the vial it is stored in.
The procedure for drawing insulin no longer requires putting air into the vial… (maybe I am mistaken?) simply insert, and draw up the required units… Where’s the big NONO?

Clearly you CANNOT use any other insulin in THAT syringe, except the Lantus but, provided you do that…. <puzzled look

Hello Dave,

<Suppressed tiny smile

<<ey keep doing it the right wayt he way you are evry one else is aksing for infections and dibtices are all ready at risk for infections.

Dave, if you would…. before posting, some of your thoughts are difficult to read… if possible, could you please check your spelling, edit/remove the previous ~message history~? Its hard to find/read the message with all the past history also still attached.
Now that aside, you could well be right… its possible <polite gentle shrug

Look forward to hearing what they say…

Jeff
