Thank you, Jennifer. I have to add, though, that we should not exercise if our BG is above 300. Exercising increases the hormone response by epiniphrine, and that is a trigger to increase BG. Epinephrine has the body ready for the fight or flight response (exercise causes this…), and therefore, blood sugar is needed for either of those responses. That’s why we shouldn’t exercise above 300.
