		<description>Lori,

I will keep you in my prayers as well. Having to give up some of our favorite things is one of the stinkiest parts of this disease. And having someone tell you to 'concentrate on the GOOD things' is not very helpful at times. We are allowed to grieve our losses, for Pete's sake!

Perhaps it is peritoneal dialysis?

If you need to vent, vent away! We understand and can listen quite well!

<description>I wonder if Animas or another pump company could make a specific "outback" pump. Or, O'Charley's pump?

Yesterday, I went to a Dairy Queen drive through to get a small cone to keep me awake on the drive back from Charleson. They took my money, gave me the cone, but when I asked how many carbs are in a small cone, they said, "sorry, the chart that lists those are gone." I handed the cone back to them and got my money back. (I did it nicely.)

Anyway, one of the women checking and administering the NCLEX yesterday at the test center is going today for her pump initial meeting. I have met quite a few very nice people because of the pump. What a strange world in which we live.
