Dilema

I know I have posted a lot over time, about my personal life, and just wanted to post the latest, and see what people think, and suggest I should do, and go from here. It is something I need to really think about, and work towards the solution.

I have been on SSD for just over a yr. due to when I had Chronic wounds (stemming from my Diabetes not under control), but these have been healed with no problems, for 4 months now. SS made me go thru another evaluation, and with Doctors notes, etc. declared me no longer needing Disability and have kicked me off. I will get my last Check in August, and my Medicare will end August 31st.

I have applied for work, and have a job Interview in the morning at Circle K… where I used to work before I had to quit for a while due to the Chronic wounds. I am thinking positive that this will work out for the best, and the job is Full time, so that is not a problem for the $$ if I get the job.

But due to a pre-exisisting condition, I might have to wait at least 9 months or so, before I could even use Insurance from somewhere if I get something. The job at Circle K does have some Insurance, but it only covers up to $1000 a yr. which is very little with being Diabetic. So now I wonder where I turn for options? Any ideas?

Thanks for listening, and I need some ideas… and ways to continue to get my Supplies I will need.

    Tina,

I have, for temporary solution, about 6 bottles of Lantus. I went on the pump, and will not need the Lantus unless I have pump problems or have to disconnect for a time. However, these times will be few, and the bottles I have will expire in the meantime. So, they are yours if you would like them.

    Tina,

I have 1 box of Freestyle test strips that you can have, too.
