Mommies to be…?’s for you!

Hi all,
I am excited about starting a family but I was hoping for some advice.
I have a prenatal appointment this Wednesday followed by an endo
appointment this Thursday. I am hoping my A1C results are on track.
My endo told me I need to be under 6 and my last A1C was 7.1. I have
tried really hard and have seen my BS come down so I am hoping to be
under 7 this time. I want to make sure that I address everything when
I go in and so far, this is what I have come up with:
Prenatal vitamin including folic acid of 0.4mg a day
Baby aspirin ( I have a positive ANA blood test )
Blood test for Rubella (German measles)
Does anyone else have any suggestions….??
Thanks in advance for any help! Evelyn :-)

    Hi,
I, too, was told to take a baby aspirin each day. At first, I didn’t
listen but when I discussed it again with my doctor, she told me it is
because my blood tends to clot more than it should. Could this be a
    common trait among diabetics…?
Also, now that I am thinking of starting a family, they told me it is
even more important. So I started last month with 81mg every day.
    Goodnight,
    Evelyn :-)
