meds in the UK/Howard
Howard you said in a previous post that if you are a diabetic in the UK that
all meds are covered. What if you’re NOT a diabetic? Are your meds still
free?

Something’s not adding up here…
2×25 for your husband = $50
2x$25 for you = $50
$50 + $50 = $100/month. What is the other $500 for? Or did you mean $600
for 6 months?
Right now I pay the following per month:
$25 for Lipitor
$25 for Advair (although my sister just gave me 3 of them my nephew is no
longer using, so I save $75 over 3 months)
$10 for Humalog (3 vials)
$10 for fosinopril (generic Monopril)
$10 for Levoxyl
$10 for test strips (300)
$0 - pump supplies
So, I normally pay $90/month for my co-pays which I think is a
bargain. Still, free would be even better! I sometimes skip refilling the
Humalog after I’ve amassed some extras. Once or twice a year I’ll get a
script for an albuterol inhaler filled ($10) just to make sure I have one
on hand that isn’t expired.
